BEATING HEART DISEASE
AND A WORLD RECORD

THE CLIENT

AXA, one of the largest global insurers, is a worldwide leader in Insurance and Asset Management with a purpose of empowering people to live better lives. In the Gulf region, AXA has been present for more than 68 years.

OBJECTIVE

The ‘LET’S BEAT IT’ campaign saw AXA joining forces with Al Zahra Hospital to raises awareness of the risks of cardio vascular disease among UAE citizens. In addition to attempting to ‘beat the disease’ an additional layer of energy was added to the event, with an attempt to ‘beat the world record’ for the highest number of blood cholesterol readings within a preset time.

RESULT

A record delivery. Magnus showcased its ability to deliver 360º solutions by managing the entire sequence of events for AXA.

The event was intensively advertised through all media channels and witnessed excellent response from the audience. The venue recorded 2,420 participants checking their blood cholesterol. Sixty nurses from AXA’s official partner Al Zahra hospital Dubai performed the tests and recorded the results in less than 5 minutes all within the 8-hour time frame. At the end of the event a new Guinness world record was set for the most blood cholesterol readings in eight hours at a single venue.
