THE CLIENT

Johnson & Johnson is the largest and most broadly based healthcare company in the world, committed to using its reach and size for good. Since 1886, the company has been striving to put a healthy mind, body, and environment within reach of everyone, everywhere.

OBJECTIVE

In 2016, J&J initiated an annual Distributor’s Award to acknowledge and honour the achievements of its distribution partners across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and Pakistan. Magnus was tasked with the concept and delivery of the entire 2019 awards ceremony at the Westin Hotel in Dubai.

CHALLENGES

Working closely with the top management team of J&J, Magnus pulled out all the stops to deliver within the time and budget constraints.

Redesigning the event logo • Redesigning and producing the awards trophy • Conceptualizing the event theme • Scripting and producing the curtain raiser, logo reveal and grand finale films • Coordination of the scenic, seating, branding, technical and catering elements of the event • Video coverage of the event

RESULT

The entire gala dinner-cum-awards ceremony was stepped up from previous years with an Oscar-style presentation that was high on glitz and glamour. Feedback surveys of the distributors indicate that the event was well received and highly appreciated.
